What does the cheapest energy label cost?
Advisors on this platform currently charge between €150 and €453.75 for an energy label for a home. The lowest price applies to smaller homes; the larger the property, the more time the assessment takes.
The range comes from the rates on the platform and changes with the advisors. You see each advisor's exact amount before you commit to anything.
Why do prices vary so much?
Advisors set their own rates. The difference comes down to three things:
- Floor area and property type: an apartment takes less assessment time than a detached house.
- Travel distance: an advisor working in your region does not have to price in those kilometres.
- Delivery time: every advisor sets their own delivery time; if an advisor sets none, it shows 5 working days. You see it in the comparison beside the price.

What should you watch at a low price?
A low price is not a problem. A label that is wrong is. Check these points before you choose:
- The advisor is certified and registers the label in EP-Online. Without registration you hold nothing.
- The price includes registration. Ask if that is not stated explicitly.
- Someone visits the property. For a home, an on-site assessment is the norm.
- Every advisor sets their own delivery time. If you are selling soon, that matters more than a few euros.
Bringing the price down yourself
You can influence the price. Have building drawings, earlier insulation invoices and installation details ready: the advisor then has less to work out and fewer default values to apply. Combining the label with a NEN 2580 measurement report is almost always cheaper than two separate appointments.

No, provided the advisor is certified and registers the label in EP-Online. A label is a standardised outcome of NTA 8800: the same home gives the same class with any certified advisor.
