How does comparing energy label assessors work?
Comparing takes three steps and a few minutes. You see which certified EP assessors cover your address, what they charge and how quickly they can carry out the survey. It costs you nothing and commits you to nothing.

You see the assessors listed together, with their price, their delivery time and their rating beside them. You sort and filter yourself, for instance by the lowest price or the earliest survey.

Request directly
You choose an assessor and send your request to them. They then contact you to arrange the survey, and you settle the appointment with them.

The assessor's own rate
This is the amount from the assessor's own rate card, for your building type and your floor area. We add no mark-up: you pay them exactly what you see here.
Delivery time
How soon the survey can take place
The assessor states how many days it takes before they can visit. If you are in a hurry, because the handover date is already fixed, you can filter on it.
Rating
From completed jobs only
A rating can only be left by a client who completed their job through this platform. We buy no reviews and take none from other sites. If an assessor carries no rating yet, none has been given yet.
Coverage
Who covers your postcode
Assessors state per postcode area where they work. You therefore only see assessors who genuinely cover your address.

Does comparing cost anything?
No. Comparing is free and without obligation, and you can close this page without having agreed to anything. You only pay the assessor you choose, at the price you saw beforehand.
Do I pay you or the assessor?
The assessor. You enter into the agreement for the energy label with them directly, and they invoice you as well. We add no mark-up to their rate and send no bill for the survey ourselves.
How is the order of the results decided?
By the sorting you choose yourself. The lowest price is shown first by default; you can also sort by rating or by delivery time. An assessor cannot buy a better place in the list. The full explanation is on How our ranking works.
What does an energy label cost?
Rates from the assessors on EnergieLabel24 fall between €199 and €489. What you pay depends on the building type and its floor area: an apartment costs less than a detached house, and commercial premises are calculated separately. The assessor states the price up front, so you know the amount before you commit to anything. Where those differences come from is set out on energy label cost.

When do you need an energy label?
When selling, letting or handing over a property. At that moment a valid label registered in EP-Online must exist, and the buyer or tenant must receive it. A label is valid for ten years, so an older one may have expired. You may already have one: look it up free of charge via energy label check. Which assessors are on EnergieLabel24?
Only assessors certified to survey and register energy labels. They work throughout the Netherlands; per postcode area you see who covers it. What an assessor can do for you varies: alongside the energy label, some also offer a NEN 2580 measurement report or advice on improving your label.

Frequently asked questions
How quickly will I have my energy label?
That differs per assessor and is stated with every offer. After the survey the assessor registers the label; it is then usually retrievable in EP-Online within a few working days.
Can I produce an energy label myself?
No. Since 1 January 2021 only a certified EP assessor may survey and register an energy label. The old provisional label you could fill in yourself no longer exists.
What if a label already exists for my address?
Then you usually need nothing, as long as it is still valid. Check that first, free of charge, via energy label check; if a valid label is on file, there is no need to engage an assessor.
