How does comparing energy label advisors work?
Requesting an energy label takes four steps: compare, choose, request and receive. You do the first three here in a few minutes. You see which certified EP advisors cover your address, what they charge and how quickly they deliver the label. It costs you nothing and commits you to nothing.
Step 2
Choose
You sort and filter yourself, for instance by the lowest price, the shortest delivery time or the rating, and choose the advisor who suits you. What to watch for with the lowest price: see cheap energy label.
Step 3
Request
You send your request directly to the advisor you chose. They then contact you to arrange the assessment, and you settle the appointment with them.
Step 4
Receive
The advisor visits for the assessment, calculates the label and registers it in EP-Online. You pay the advisor, at the price you saw beforehand.

This is the amount from the advisor's own rate card, for your building type and your floor area. We add no margin: you pay them exactly what you see here.
Delivery time
How soon you have the label
The delivery time is the time from your request until the label is in EP-Online. The advisor sets it; if they set none, it shows 5 working days. If you are in a hurry, because the handover date is already fixed, you sort or filter on delivery time.
Rating
Published customer reviews
The own average includes published customer reviews submitted by invitation or entered manually. Invitation origin is shown with the review; Google reviews are separate. We buy no reviews. If an advisor carries no rating yet, none has been given yet.
Coverage
Who covers your postcode
Advisors state per postcode area where they work. You therefore only see advisors who genuinely cover your address.

Does comparing cost anything?
No. Comparing is free and without obligation, and you can close this page without having agreed to anything. You only pay the advisor you choose, at the price you saw beforehand.
Do I pay you or the advisor?
The advisor. You enter into the agreement for the energy label with them directly, and they invoice you as well. We add no margin to their rate and send no bill for the assessment ourselves.
How is the order of the results decided?
By the sorting you choose yourself. The highest rating is shown first by default; you can also sort by price or by delivery time. Every advisor sets their own delivery time. An advisor cannot buy a better place in the list. The full explanation is on How our ranking works.
What does an energy label cost?
Rates from the advisors on Energielabel24 fall between €150 and €453.75. What you pay depends on the building type and its floor area: an apartment costs less than a detached house, and commercial premises are calculated separately. The advisor states the price up front, so you know the amount before you commit to anything. Where those differences come from is set out on energy label cost.

When do you need an energy label?
When selling, letting or handing over a property. At that moment a valid label registered in EP-Online must exist, and the buyer or tenant must receive it. A label is valid for ten years, so an older one may have expired. You may already have one: look it up free of charge via energy label check. Which advisors are on Energielabel24?
Only advisors certified to assess properties and register energy labels. They work throughout the Netherlands; per postcode area you see who covers it. What an advisor can do for you varies: alongside the energy label, some also offer a NEN 2580 measurement report or advice on improving your label.

Frequently asked questions
How quickly will I have my energy label?
That differs per advisor: every advisor sets their own delivery time, the time from your request until the label is in EP-Online, and it is stated with every offer in the comparison. If an advisor sets none, it shows 5 working days. After the assessment the advisor registers the label in EP-Online.
Can I produce an energy label myself?
No. Since 1 January 2021 only a certified EP advisor may carry out the assessment and register an energy label. The old provisional label you could fill in yourself no longer exists.
What if a label already exists for my address?
Then you usually need nothing, as long as it is still valid. Check that first, free of charge, via energy label check; if a valid label is on file, there is no need to engage an advisor.
